My Role
I worked across multiple teams to support Asksia’s marketing efforts through creative and written content.
Blog Team: Wrote reflective and educational blog posts centered on my experiences using Asksia, translating complex ideas into accessible, student-focused narratives.
LinkedIn Team: Ghostwrote thought-leadership content for Celine, one of Asksia’s head leaders, helping communicate the brand’s vision, values, and impact within the education and tech space.
YouTube Team: Created short-form video content, leveraging my background at an art and design school to showcase how Asksia can be used specifically within the design process. This led to the “Design With Me”concept, highlighting real creative workflows and making the tool more approachable for designers.
Life in a Startup.
Working at an early-stage startup meant taking on a wide range of responsibilities and collaborating closely with founders and leadership. Each day brought new challenges that often extended beyond a traditional role, requiring adaptability, initiative, and strong communication.
Innovation and flexibility defined the culture at AskSia. Ideas were encouraged, experimentation was expected, and I was able to contribute directly to live products, seeing my work translate into real, measurable user impact.
The fast-paced environment strengthened my ability to prioritize, adapt quickly, and solve problems creatively. This experience sharpened my skill set and gave me firsthand insight into the energy, momentum, and collaboration required to drive a startup forward successfully.
Youtube:
On the YouTube team, I created short-form videos highlighting how AskSia fits into the design process. Coming from an art and design background, I was able to communicate how the tool supports ideation, organization, and creative flow, which led to the creation of the “Design With Me” series.
Blog:
As part of the blog team, I wrote reflective and educational articles centered on my hands-on experience using AskSia. These posts focused on real workflows, showing how the platform could support designers, students, and creatives in streamlining their thinking and process.

LinkedIn:
For LinkedIn, I ghostwrote posts for Celine, one of AskSia’s head leaders. These posts translated complex ideas around AI, education, and creativity into clear, engaging thought leadership content tailored to a professional audience.
What I learned:
During my time as a marketing intern at Asksia, I gained hands-on experience in a variety of marketing tasks, from content creation and social media management to campaign strategy and analytics. I learned how to effectively communicate brand messaging, engage audiences, and collaborate within a team to bring projects from concept to completion.
I also developed valuable skills in digital tools and platforms, improved my creativity and problem-solving abilities, and gained insight into how marketing strategies drive business growth. This internship taught me the importance of organization, adaptability, and attention to detail, while giving me the confidence to contribute meaningfully to real-world marketing initiatives.
Overall, my experience at Asksia was incredibly educational, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally, and giving me a deeper understanding of the marketing field.
