Our team chose to emphasize the scientific foundation behind the creation of Miracle Broth. The process relies on controlled kelp fermentation, calibrated light exposure, and the application of sound waves, all of which play a critical role in developing the formula’s transformative properties.

IDEATION
When I began sketching, sound waves became the central influence guiding my process. I translated their rhythms, frequencies, and oscillations into organic, free-flowing forms that echo patterns found in nature. The sketches explored a range of expressions—some tectonic and explosive yet still grounded in structure, others calm, repetitive, and meditative—mirroring the dynamic and fluid nature of sound. Throughout the process, it was essential to preserve the integrity of these wave-inspired forms, allowing subtle irregularities to remain visible. By embracing omission, negative space, and iterative refinement, I highlighted what might otherwise be seen as imperfections, using them as intentional moments that express movement, resonance, and depth.

La Mer Synthesis brings together the 3 elements of Miracle Broth's Story: the kelp, the sound, & the light. Through the layering and mixing, we tell the story of how all 3 come together as 1.
Inspired by traditional product displays, this multipurpose structure is designed to be placed throughout the store. By presenting La Mer Synthesis in a new format, we emphasized the adaptability of the concept. Drawing from layered paneling, handcrafted sea glass, and an intentional play of light, the display showcases the product in a refined, traditional, and elevated way the sound, & the light. Through the use of handcrafted glass pieces suspended by iridescent string, each angle reveals a distinct story. As the different levels of glass moves (one goes up and down while the other moves from the front to back continuously), light reflects in a range of ways, mimicking the fluid motion and rhythm of sound waves.
